Latest NewsSailing World Cup: Weymouth 2016

The Scottish contingent were at it again last week giving their expertise to help run the Sailing World Cup event held at Weymouth on the south coast of England. 
The SSI’s David Kent and Stuart White as well as Cumbrae’s David Frame, Andy Gibb and Tom Thurlow, Largs Sailing Club’s Alastair Leicester and RYA Scotland’s Matt Toynbee all helped with running the race management, mark laying and safety at the 2012 Olympic venue.
The event brought some of the world’s best sailors to the UK and Team GBR didn’t disappoint taking 13 medals in total.
