Largs welcomes the Optimist class back for the 2009 National Championship.

The Yacht Haven Site is ideal for large events as there is a lots of parking, a wide range of facilities, campervan parking on site, fine clubhouse and great sailing waters. The scenic location offers lots to do for those ashore including walking, fishing, golfing shopping or even relaxing on the sea front with a fish supper and famous Nardini ice cream!

This page has a link to accommodation and where possible this shall display accommodation with known availability. Towns such as Gourock, Greenock, Paisly, (Glasgow Airport), Irvine and Troon are between 20 – 40 minutes drive time from the venue so please look outwith Largs town if you are having difficulty finding accommodation at this stage. For teams or those with RIB transport there is accommodation available at the National Centre Cumbrae (bunk rooms: check in Fri 7, Check out Fri 14)
